The tool supports three general modes of operation:
set. To enhance the readability of scripts using the
sobj tool, several variants of the
copy command are recognized. One of the following commands may be executed on the input data:
sobj [OPTIONS] c|cp|copy [INPUT [OUTPUT]]
-indicates the standard input (default), the special output filename
-indicates the standard output (default).
sobj [OPTIONS] p|print [INPUT [OUTPUT]]
copycommand, but the output object serializations are terminated with a newline character (if a text serialization format was selected).
sobj [OPTIONS] r|resolve [INPUT [OUTPUT]]
copycommand, but requires a resolver to be specified through a
sobj [OPTIONS] e|eval [INPUT [OUTPUT]]
copycommand with the
sobj [OPTIONS] g|get ADDR [INPUT [OUTPUT]]
getoperation on the input object. This command may not be used for object lists! ADDR specifies the address to be used in the
getoperation. INPUT and OUTPUT are the same as for the
